The first and last thing we want in this life, is breath. And, breath is the key to understanding our eternal peaceful being. Not the breath itself but, what's between the in and out breath. What Buddha called: The Middle Way. However, not the Middle Way that current Buddhist practice. But, the middle way between our inhalation and exhalation.
There are those today that believe that chanting a certain sound or mantra will take one back to self-realization. That is to say, making the Self real and easy to understand. Most, refer to themselves as "I" or "Me." And, refer to items owned by that "I" or "Me" as "Mine." Whatout asking even once, who is this "I" or "Me?"
Some will even go so far as to turn this into a spiritual dicipline and ask that of themselves; and just wait for an answer. They ask: Who is this I that is waiting for an answer? This is much like asking for a taxi without the experience of a taxi showing up and taking you where you'd like to go. It's much better in my opinion, to experience the taxi and the ride it gives you instead of just eternally waiting for it. But, not knowing how to call that middle way for oneself, and to experience it, it's virtually impossible to experience it. Lifetime after lifetime, looking and searching for that middle way though countless forms. We go out looking for something really complicated when in fact, the middle way is the ultimate in simplicity. One would have to become very simple indeed to understand it. They'd have to let go totally and surrender to that adamantine quintessence - the purest of the pure of it. Even the slightest grabbing, slightest desire would prevent one from understanding it. Without finding someone that is currently experiencing it. Experiencing that Middle Way. And, could teach you. You could go for endless lifetimes searching for some experience that is right inside you now.
Fortunately, you won't have to go for endless lifetimes to find this knowledge. I will be more than glad to teach you as I've been taught.
I will explain over several blog entries not only how to find and practice this middle way but, much more.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
